Semi-pro team names EWU grad head coach

Former Eastern hoopster Rob Ridenour -- better known now as father of Luke Ridenour, the Sonics' starting point guard -- was named head coach of the Bellingham Slam, a semi-pro basketball team. Ridenour spent 12 years at Blaine H.S., where he led the Borderites to back-to-back championships behind the stellar play of Luke (I saw them win the first one while covering the tourney as a reporter -- Luke played left handed because he had a cast on his right hand and he still dominated the tourney.)
