Keller and EWU students find coffin buried under Third Avenue
What started out as just looking into where a few bones found in the Third Ave. reconstruction in Spokane came from ended up taking a strange twist, as Eastern's distinguished anthropology professor Sarah Keller and her EWU students unearthed an old wooden coffin, believed to be from Spokane's pioneer days.
