EWU biology grad working to restore sharp-tailed grouse population

Pat Tonasket, an Eastern biology grad and a biologist for the Colville Confederated Tribes, is working with a partner to try to restore the health of the sharp-tailed grouse population on the Colville Indian Reservation, which is home to about half of the state's sharp-tailed grouse population.
