Former EWU student drowns near Walla Walla

Nicholas Ashley, 22, of Milton-Freewater, Ore., was found in the Washougal River after he apparently drowned. Ashley was a recent EWU alumnus working as a vocational ed trainer for the alternative education program in the Milton-Freewater School District.
