The EWU Board of Trustees announced the three finalists for the EWU president position. All three gentlemen are currently serving as provosts and one has been mentioned in regards to the provost opening at Metropolitan State, where former Eastern president Steve Jordan currently presides.

The finalists are: Rodolfo Arevalo, from the Univ. of Texas-Pan American; Andrew Bodman, from Western Washington Univ.; and John William Folkins, from Bowling Green State Univ.
