Eagles get verbal commit from one of state's best all-around football players
Shorecrest two-way football star Jesse Hoffman gave a verbal commitment today to EWU, becoming one of the centerpieces of coach Paul Wulff's 2006 recruiting class. Hoffman said he chose Eastern over other interested schools because he was told he'd have a chance to play running back. The larger interested schools saw him more as a defensive player.
